O'Connor's baptism! Yay! 🙌

Folks this is a week to remember. So me and Elder Maynes were happy with the time we spent with each other but kinda ready to go our own way so looking forward to the O'Connor's baptism was basically the thing keeping us intact haha

We did a decent amount of service again at my fav place Restore!! That place continues to wow me... we showed up one morning and just kinda joined the staff meeting and lemme tell ya it was quite the meeting hahaha one of the employees got the boss to by Chick-fil-A for everyone though! We didn't get any but it was cool to see the employees win lol

Thursday we had an awesome lesson with the O'Connor's and then got all of them there baptismal clothes!! Friday we had district council in the morning which was super fun cause it was in person! With the help of my mother I had a super fun activity. Everyone went to there car and got the most random obkect they could find. We were all sitting in a circle so the companionship to your right would have to relate the object you have to the teaching point of the companionship to your lefts choosing in a role play. Sounds a little confusing but it was so fun. There was a used subway napkin, bike rack, salted dark chocolate and a Mexican flag. It was so much fun!

Everyone was busy so we didn't get to do our usual parking lot lunch but we finished making the baptismal program which turned out really good but we couldn't get it in color. Us and Brother Hiatt showed up an hour early to the baptism to start setting up and fill the font. Turns out we didn't know what the heck we were doing but we managed to whip it up pretty good. We were all ready to go but then realized that the font wasn't really filling up 😬 We got started and it was going good and then Troy and Deacon got in the font and it was like at there knees hahaha After 3 attempts we decided to fill it up more. After two more attempts Deacon was Baptized!! They were making the best of it and having fun. They were so happy! Marinn, Rowan and Katherine's went really smoothly which was good. It was something I'll never forget. Seeing Troy exercise the Priesthood for the baptism of his family. Bishop confirmed Katherine and Deacon, Elder Maynes confirmed Marinn and I confirmed Rowan. It was such a spiritual experience.

They all bore there testimonies and us and bishop were thinking about how after the early saints were baptized the came out of the water prophicing and testifieng. There testimonies were amazing and I know without a doubt they have the Holy Ghost as a constant companion.

Saturday we had our transfer zone devo. They give you your transfer news and everyone watches your reaction on zoom hahaha Its really funny honestly. Me and Elder Maynes were first. I'm going to a place called Gloucester which is 45min east of me. Elder Maynes is staying and finishing the training of an elder. I was a littlw bummed I'm leaving this area but oh well. We had our second lesson with Nikki who was a bible study referral and read Matthew 3 about Jesus's baptism and I felt the spirit SO STRONG so I just full sent it and invited her to be baptized and she said YESSSS!!!! YAY! She is so sweet and nice. She watched church and is so excited for baptism! MILAGRO!!

Sunday was bitter sweet. I did my rounds at church and surprisingly some members were sad to see me go but it felt good to know I made some peoples life's a little happier!! Brother O'Connor passed the sacrament!!! They are the most amazing family ever!!

Monday we went to Colonial Williamsburg and accidentally hung out with the New Kent Elders and the Hermanas hahaha It was fun to have one last hurrahhh with this litty district. We also had our classic parking lot lunch and ate some good Popeyes sandwiches hehehe

If you read all that I'm impressed 👏
