Happy Holidays!

Ok its been a little bit... oops.

Thanksgiving was a blast! We had a district Turkey Bowl game! We even had the sisters out there running routes. It was a good time. Then we went to the Coates house for dinner and oh boy was it good! They take cooking very serious and it is a great blessing to us missionaries.

They have 3 girls and they are so funny. They're always running around having fun so that made dinner very entertaining!

After that we went to Shoofly farm. Members own the farm and they're always happy to host missionaries so a decent amount of us(mainly Spanish missionaries cause they don't get fed to often) went over there and hung out around a fire telling stories and having fun talking with each other.

Skip to the week of Christmas and 3 out of the 4 missionaries in the Belmont ward got transferred. I am the lone wolf. I was way bummed. Me and Elder Jessop were like best friends. We were always having fun and making the best of the grind of missionary work.

The new Elders are awesome but the OG's will always be the glory days. My new comp Elder Robison was trained by one of my last companions and served in my favorite area in Charlottesville so we have fun talking about people we both know.

For Christmas Eve we had district council and everyone enjoyed my chocolate chip pumpkin cookies I made and we all had fun during what we call the "half time game". Me and Elder McAleavy are the only people in the district that were here last transfer which is super weird BUT we are all getting along great!

After district council we had exchanges with the zone leaders which was fun because I went with Elder Hunt who I served next to in Charlottesville so were good buddies.

The rest of the night we hung out with the Belmont B Elders and watched the Christmas special chosen episode! It was a lot of fun.

Christmas 🎄 was so so good. We opened presents and then played pickleball with Belmont b and the zls. There were a lot of people at the courts surprisingly so we had some fun games.

Then we went to another park and on the way almost got hit by a car merging into my lane. Elder Robison saw the car coming and I was able to avoid the eminent accident so that was fun.

With the district we tie-dyed shirts and then played pickleball and everyone had a good time!

We then went to the Chase's for dinner and had sirloin meatloaf and funeral potatoes 😋 so good. There kids Tommy and Abby are a party every time we go over and its always fun seeing there huge lego collection and brother chase's cars. He has 2 wrx's and a Plymouth road runner.

After that we went to... Shoofly farm and hung out with missionaries again! Hehe
It was one of the most fun days on my mission.

To top it all off we had a district blitz and together found like 6 people in an hour.

Hope yall had some good holidays and you had fun!
