Feliz Navidad!!!

 Here's redemption from last week folks. A chunk of stuff actually happened which is super sick. We started serving at the coolest place ever! 

Its called restore and its just a second hand store that takes donations and then donates the proceeds to helping families living conditions. The place is huge and has so much stuff to do so it makes it really fun to serve there especially since I basically haven't done service the first 5 months of my mish  Oh and when we serve we go with other missionaries in our district so its a blast. Sometimes we do little exchanges which are honestly better then real exchanges because we can only do them at the church. 

The O'Connor family are basically members. They brought us food and are just so awesome. Members keep asking US if we know them!  They are looking good to be baptized January 8th!

The Warrens are so fun! Literally everything turns into an argument but it just funny. We had a lesson about ammon and I mad some swords from home depot so they could reenact the story.... some might say thats a bad idea but they had SO much FUN!!!! Its gonna take a little miracle for them to be baptized on the 31st of this month so pray that their parents will let them!  

Zachary was baptized!!!  I wasn't able to attend but I watched over zoom. He was still uncomfortable with water getting on his face so his grandma Teresa was in the font holding a dry towel. As soon as he came up he wiped his face off and had the BIGGEST smile!!! It was such a blessing to see how happy it made him. It helped me remember how great baptism is and why I'm inviting people to be baptized. 

We had a really good mission devotional with our parents on the zoom call. It was pretty fun seeing everyone's parents hahaha. 

The 23rd was such a good day. We served at Restore and did a little exchange with the sickest elders ever and then we decorated sugar cookies with our favorite members the Pixton's. They're barely older then us so its a good time. Unfortunately I didn't get a pic  We then had a exchange at the church with the same elders from earlier in the day! Exchanges are funny cause you basically just talk behind your companions back but its nice to get a breather. Elder Maynes has a lot to get off his chest lately. He's been struggling a little so things haven't been too ideal but were plowing through it... hopefully lol. 

Christmas eve was super fun too! We hqd a bomb district council qnd at the end i had the fun activity for us. We did a little thing were everyone has a minute to write. 

I wrote the first thing and then everyone takes a turn and at the end you have a funny story  here it is

Christmas with Lehi's family!

Although the wilderness is not an ideal place to have Christmas it made it very convenient to find a tree! I Nephi love Christmas therfore I laborerd exceedingly to decorate the tents. My father dwelt in a tent as decorations began to encircle him. 

And now it came to pass that Laman and Lemuel looked around and saw the many decorations. And Laman sayeth: Bah humbug! Our father desirest that we should celebrate this season, but we know not why!

And Lehi said unto his sons go and

Do and spread Christmas joy by singing to all to hear!

And it came to pass that the sons of Lehi received a revelation to return to the land of Jerusalem to spread good tidings to all the wicked inhabitants of that city.

And Lemuel had a time of reckoning as he went to Jerusalem.

And laman also had a time of reckoning as he went to the land of Jerusalem and so did all of Lehis family.

And they got to Jerusalem and they did drink eggnog and sing hymns to laban and did take the golden plates because their singing was angelic.

Yeah it was fun. Then we had a comp study with more sick elders and some of the funnest Sisters in the mission. President and Sister Droubay did a super fun mission devotional in there matching pj's. 

Christmas!!!  We had our district activity at the park but the volleyball sand was SOAKED so we played tag on the playground hahaha it was actually a blast. And we played picklball tennis and basketball. I love my district sp much. We are all legit friends and just have so much fun together.
